Went on a rafting/raft support kayak trip Aug 17- 20 on the Rogue. WOW! The weather was perfect, the river was great, and the fun and service provided by Rogue River Journeys made this my favorite trip, EVER. The guides took such great care of all of our needs. I'll surely be a return customer!

You will LOVE it!! We did the 4 day guided trip down the Rogue River. They have inflatable kayaks, also, so you can choose your level of excitement at any time. The guides are also wonderful hosts, setting up camp and cooking in very timely fashion. We did not want for anything, including food! The equipment is in great condition, the staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly.

We rafted with RRJ from July 20 through July 23, 2011--2 nights camping and 1 night at Paradise Lodge. The rapids were mostly class 3 so safe for everyone, yet exciting. There were a couple of class 4's. The Rogue River is a beautiful treasure. RRJ provided us with fun rafting in oar boats, a paddleboat and kayaks. They are a customer-service oriented company with a great crew that holds their guest's safety, comfort and satisfaction as a high priority. The equipment and supplies they provided were excellent. We love their guides all of whom are experienced, have great senses of humor and work very hard for their guests. The food was fabulous, and the journey is one to be remembered.

We just got back from a 3-day trip on the Rogue River with Rogue River Journeys. We had a terrific time - the guides are excellent, they are very safe, friendly and knowledgeable about the river. You can customize your rafting trip based on the level of adventure you are looking for. The food and service is top notch!

As I reflect on last weeks trip I remember the fabulous crew. The staff was friendly, had a great agenda and equipment, but best of all was the food. I didn't think one could eat that well on the river. Thanks again Jim

I am still walking on a cloud; thank you for the total adventure away from city-life! It's really hard being stuck in my office all day, now. Even my car is missing the spray of the river! I still walk around thinking I'm swooshing around waves (only now they are obstacle people ha-ha).

Jim, I would recommend your trip and crew to anyone who wanted a fun, exhilarating river trip with friendly, experienced guides, who make you feel part of the family of river rafters! "Rogue River Journey ROCKS!" Went on a fabulous 4-day trip with Rogue River Journeys. We were a group of about 20 ranging in ages 10-60ish. The food and drinks excellent.the guides friendly with great humor and knowledge of the river...past and present. We saw a lot of mishaps with other private and commercial companies (maybe because the water level was high)? But it made me really appreciate the expertise this company has.

Thank you so much for making our celebration such a success. You all provided a top shelf, awesome, great, amazing, river rafting experience! All three of you made the trip. You epitomize the saying, "If you love what you do, you'll never spend a day at work." The food, the historic sites, the lodging, the camaraderie, everything was perfect. Before my kids get out of high school, you will see our family on the Rogue.

The trip was awesome all around. I was very impressed with the organization from the pre-trip planning, to the day on the river. I was impressed by how hard everyone worked to keep things going so smoothly. Thank you!

Our guides were casual and friendly, but also very hospitable, organized and capable. As a result, I felt safe and happy. I loved the side trips to the historical sites, swimming holes, etc. The food was great and thanks for setting up our tents/camp.

I was doing a DeRiemer Adventure Kayaking (DAK) trip. Little did I know that the raft support and rafting aspect of the trip would be so excellent. I should have known that Phil & Mary work/play with the best! I am planning on paddling the Rogue again next year and I will try to bring along a rafter friend or two for next year's DAK trip. I enjoyed the fact that the guides were so good that I could really relax and enjoy the rapids and the scenery. The guides were really experts. Rogue River Journeys has a great reputation through friends of mine.

Every aspect of our DAK/RRJ trip this year was awesome. The kayaking was incredible, the guides superb, food excellent, people fun and interesting and the weather was great! The trip was easy to book and every detail was considered. We were a little nervous about bringing our six-year-old daughter on the trip, but it turned out to be a great vacation for all of us. All of the guides were fantastic and made it a special trip for everyone. The wildlife was impressive. Seeing a bear (from afar) was very special for us. It was a trip we will always remember.

We had a fantastic time and your team of Phil, Anya, Ryan, Creatch, and Lucas did a first rate job with our gang. With 12 kids under 13 years old, I'll bet you passed us off to the 8th grade teacher strategically! The team was competent, professional, and, not to be forgotten, a lot of fun; thanks for putting them together for us. As an aside, your daughter is very impressive, of which I'm sure you and your wife are aware and proud. Our young ones (primarily Emily, Jacqueline, Kendall, and Rina) were glued to her the whole trip and she was a saint with them. As one of the moms said at some point, you look at some 17 year olds and wonder if they are ready for the next step of their lives (like college) and Anya most certainly is. She is not only very capable with a raft full of clients in the white water (as she knows, I watched from the rocks above the Picket Fence with misguided trepidation as she navigated the raft with Emily, Jacqueline, Kendall, and Rina through the top of Blossom-- she handled with absolutely no problem), but mature and responsible beyond her years.
