Our River Menu

Unbelievably delicious food in the middle of nowhere

F
resh… Local… and simply delicious. These are the three qualities we look for in every meal we serve to you on your Rogue River vacation. The Rogue River Journeys crew prepares your food with the utmost attention to detail – starting with where we buy our ingredients. Our established relationships with local providers allow us to bring our regions most sought-after foods and beverages to the Rogue River canyon. Rest assured – you’ll be impressed with our menu, not to mention the surrounding dining view. And there’s no need to “rock-paper-scissors” – we’ll do the dishes.

Rogue River Journeys MenuAll on-river meals are provided, beginning with lunch the first day and ending with lunch on the last day. Breakfasts are typically served around 8:00 a.m. (with coffee and snacks available earlier), lunch between 12:00 and 1:00, and dinner around 6:30 p.m. Appetizers are served shortly upon arriving at camp and a mouth-watering dessert always follows dinner. All of our meals have wonderful vegetarian options and we can accommodate most dietary restrictions with advanced notice.

Breakfasts

There aren’t too many things that bring on a smile more than waking up to a fresh cup of coffee and your breakfast being prepared by our crew. Our breakfasts include (but are not limited to) french toast, blueberry pancakes, bacon, hash browns, omelets made to order, breakfast sausage, egg strata, coffee cake, and, always, fresh fruit.

Lunches

After a morning on the river or trail, you’ll probably have worked up an appetite. Relax by the river as our guides whip up a deli spread of meats, cheeses, vegetables, and locally made (fresh baked, too) breads. Lunches always include a salad: summer, Waldorf, or taco salad. Fresh juice is available as well.

Dinners

Rogue River Journeys FoodPerhaps the highlight of the menu, our dinners are the perfect accent to a relaxing evening in camp. Enjoy Ahi tuna, grilled asparagus, New York steaks, barbecue chicken, rice, lasagna, potatoes, garlic bread, and a variety of creative salads.

Beverages

We carry ample supplies of water, juices, coffee, tea and hot chocolate, as well as some soda, beer and wine. In addition to our supply, you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own beverages. It is best to bring canned soda and beer (rather than glass bottles), but bottled wine is fine. We will provide a safe and convenient place to store your beverages. Cocktail ice is also available upon request.
